Gira waterfall is a famous destination for nature and waterfall lovers, and it is situated in Dang district of Gujarat in Wanarchod village , 5.7km far from Wagahi city and 49km far from Saputara hills. Gira waterfall also known as Gira Gira Dhodh or Giradudh in between local people of Gujarat,and its seasonal waterfalls.

Gira falls height is approximately 30 meters and width is nearly 300 meters it generates from Ambika river and Kapri River sangam.

I visited Gira falls during the end of the rainy season in September and at this time the rain was very low and I saw the crystal clear water of the waterfall, and the crowd also low. The lush green forest and shyadri hill range looks beautiful after rain and I took lots of pictures using my camera and enjoyed the pollution free atmosphere. Best Time to Visit Gira Waterfall

Monsoon is the best season to visit Gira waterfalls from July to September , but you can also visit from October to December that time water flow is low.

Gira waterfalls you can easily reach via Wagahi town and for it reach first Waghai railway station by Bilimora to Waghai heritage train and then hire a taxi in 100-200 rupees to reach Gira Waterfalls. But you can also reach through GSRTC bus that is connected from other major cities of Gujarat.
