Kevadia is a small village in Narmada district of Indian state Gujarat. Kevadia is known for Sardar Sarovar dam but after the launch of Statue of Unity, this place becomes world-famous.

Before the development of a statue of unity, people only came to see Narmada river and Sardar Sarovar dam. That time you had not to find any restaurant or hotel to stay during the tour, and you will find only a little bit of development for tourists. Only road connectivity is the best option at that time to reach Kevadia and now is the different scenario after the launch of Statue of Unity. 

 The 17 tourism project inaugurated around the Statue of Unity in  Kevadia by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and this is known as 'Kevadia Tourism Circuit'. For the world largest 182-metre-high statue and Kevadia Tourism Circuit, now Kevadia becomes a tourism hub of India and therefore Government built a highly facilitated railway station for tourism connectivity. PM Narendra Modi flag off 8 new trains to increase connectivity to boost Gujarat's Kevadia tourism, and one train is the Jan Shatabdi Express between Ahmedabad and Kevadia that have Vistadome coaches.   2. Kevadiya to Dadar
  3. Kevadiya to Hazrat Nizamuddin
  4. Kevadiya to Rewa
  5. Kevadiya to Chennai
  6. Kevadiya to Pratapnagar
  7. Kevadiya to Ahmedabad
  8. Dadar to Kevadiya 

PM Narendra Modi also launched a new broad-gauge line and the new station buildings of Dabhoi, Chandod and Kevadiya. These railway station buildings are designed with new features and modern passenger facilities. Kevadiya is the first Green building certification railway station in India. This is the first time the railway has started 8 trains from different places for one destination.

What is the Kevadia Tourism Circuit?

Kevadia is a small village in Narmada district of Gujarat and near to Narmada river. This place developed too much after the Statue of Unity launched and became a famous tourist destination. The government has developed the 35 tourist places near the Statue of Unity in Kevadia and that is called Kevadia Tourism Circuit.

  • Statue of Unity entry fees is Rs.150 for adults and Rs. 90 for children
  • View gallery which is 150 m on the statue, for this fees is Rs 380 for adults and Rs 230 for children
  • River rafting fees is Rs.1000 per person and this is a most expensive attraction on the circuit
