By Flight: Surat airport nearest form Silvassa city, it is 101km distance between two cities. Air India operates their flight from Delhi to Surat and Mumbai to Surat.

By Train Route: The nearest railway station is Vapi, From Vapi to Silvassa distance is 17km. You will get the trains from Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad to reach here.

By Bus Route: You will get the bus service from every nearest city for Silvassa bus stop, and you can also get direct bus service from Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

By Car Route: You can reach Silvassa using N48 & GJSH185. Need to drive Mumbai to Silvassa 168km and Ahmedabad to Silvassa 375km, but one thing to note here is to turn from the nearest city Bhilad and drive on GJSH185 to reach Silvassa.

  1. Dudhni Lake 

Dudhni lake is known as the best water spot to visit on the weekend holiday. It is situated 40km from Silvassa city area, and it is the biggest lake built on Madhuban Dam’s reservoir. This place is famous for the shikara boat ride and people especially visit here for it.

Per person ride price is between 100-250 for 30 min, and boat drivers twirl us at least 1-2 km distance. Summer season is the best time to visit Dudhni lake, and we went here after completing our two days Daman tour.

 

2.Silvassa Tribal Museum

 

Silvassa tribal museum is a major tourist place in Silvassa city. In this place, you will find the history of tribal culture and collection of tools on the life of the tribal people of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. It is located 20 km from Vapi, and you have to need to drive through Silvassa Vapi road to reach here.

 

3.Church of Our Lady of Piety 

Church of Our Lady of Piety is the roman catholic church built by the Portuguese people in Silvassa city between 1886 and 1889. It is the beautiful and oldest church in Dadra Nagar haveli and built using stone. It is located near the Silvassa Tribal Museum and a very peaceful atmosphere here. 



4.Silvassa Vasona Lion Safari

Do you like Jungle safari? Then this is the best place for you to visit. This is the best place to tour around 10km in Silvassa, here you will know how lions leave their life in their own world. It is spread across the 20-acre land that is part of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Wildlife sanctuary. This place is also known as the home of Asiatic lions, and here you will also enjoy the vans ride to know lions closely. Silvassa vasona lion safari timings between 9am to 5pm all week excluding Monday.

For tour and tourist time is not fixed but as per our experience the best time to visit Silvassa is between Jan to July month. This time the temperature of Silvassa is 23 to 25 C, so you must tour Silvassa during this time and enjoy your tour.
