Devgad Fort Maharashtra- Timing ,Tour Experience & More

Devgad Fort is located in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra, and is situated near the beautiful sea shore of Devgad taluka. This fort was built by Dattajirao Angre in 1729 and Kanhoji Angre took care of it for a long time. When I planned a Konkan tour, I had added it to the list of optional destinations and not included it in my list of major tourist destinations. After That I saw a vlog on YouTube about this destination and I liked it very much, then after I talked to our cab driver manager and decided to go to this place and covered it with my Devgad beach tour. Indeed the fort location is very beautiful and the scenic views are very good.

So friends, if you are thinking about where to go during these holidays, then friends, I believe that you should make a plan to visit Konkan of Maharashtra and definitely add a historical tourist destination like Devgad Fort in your plan. Main Attraction of Devgad Fort Maharashtra

Friends, the view around Devgad Fort is very good and the main thing worth seeing is the view of the sea from a height, which was a lifetime experience for me. If you are planning to visit Devgad, then do not forget to see this view, and Before seeing the fort which is built on Plato land, do not forget to visit the special Ganesh temple which is a mythological temple and then fort and after completing it then visit lighthouse that is open between 5pm to 6pm in the evening. 

I found the best thing about this place to be a zero pollution environment, but the government has not maintained this place well, due to which the existence of the fort is in danger, so I request the government to maintain this place, which will increase tourism at this place and people will get employment.

Friends, you can easily reach Devgad Fort by road and train and this place is 439 km dur from Mumbai and 110 km from Ratnagiri City, so you can reach by cab or your own car via NH 66.

Best time to visit Devgad Fort

Best time to visit is from Nov to March because this time the atmosphere is cool , and the rainy season is also good time to visit here.
